Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread

This is a such a simple recipe. You really just need 5 things. Biscuits, cinnamon, sugar, butter and brown sugar. That's it! The jumbo buttermilk biscuits can be purchased at Aldi for $1.29. The butter was around 70 cents for the whole box. Everyone has brown sugar, sugar and cinnamon on hand. (If not, you can get it cheap at Aldi!)

Just cut the biscuits into quarters.

Then mix the biscuits in a big bowl with cinnamon sugar.

Place the coated biscuits in a bundt pan. Drizzle a brown sugar and butter mixture over top.

Heat at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. And then enjoy while warm!

Here is the "official" recipe. (from Pillsbury)

Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cans buttermilk biscuits
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease 12-cup fluted tube cake pan.

2.
In large plastic food-storage bag, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Separate dough into a total of 16 biscuits; cut each into quarters. Shake in bag to coat. Arrange in pan. Mix brown sugar and butter; pour over biscuit pieces.

3.
Bake 47 to 52 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in center. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn upside down onto serving plate; pull apart to serve. Serve warm.
For the best results, keep the biscuit dough in the refrigerator until just before you use it. Warm dough might get sticky and be hard to handle.
